Overview
Before joining Bailey Brand, I served as the primary WordPress developer at Knucklehead Productions, a small creative startup specializing in web, branding, and video production. Working alongside a talented graphic designer, Josh, we operated as a lean two-person team, collaborating on a wide range of client websites and creative projects.
Our partnership allowed each of us to focus on our strengths—Josh leading visual design and branding while I handled WordPress development, technical implementation, responsive behavior, and site functionality. Together, we delivered custom solutions tailored to each client’s goals, timeline, and budget.
The Challenge
After completing numerous client projects, we realized we had never invested the same level of effort into our own agency presence. We wanted a website that showcased our capabilities, reflected our personality, and demonstrated the quality of work we delivered to clients every day.
The goal was to create a site that felt distinctive, memorable, and authentic to the Knucklehead brand while remaining functional, search-friendly, and scalable.

As the WordPress developer, I was responsible for:

One of the biggest challenges involved resolving significant mobile responsiveness issues introduced by the chosen theme architecture. Through extensive testing and refinement, I was able to create a mobile experience that maintained the integrity of the design while improving usability across devices.
The Solution
Working closely with Josh, we created a site that blended custom layouts, distinctive typography, strong brand voice, and thoughtful user experience design. Every aspect of the site was crafted to communicate the agency’s personality while showcasing our creative capabilities.
